Fightback is a trans‑Tasman socialist media project with a quarterly magazine and a newsletter, distributed across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia . Fightback advocate for a total break with the current socio-economic system to be replaced by one designed and run collectively based on principles of freedom, mutual aid, and social need.
The magazine involves the creation of illustrations and layout design, incorporating a variety of articles on current time politics, trends, and issues throughout the world. Working together with Fightback’s Editorial Board, I ensure the design and illustration of the magazine successfully represent the organisation’s principles while also ensuring it is sensitive, relevant, and complement the written content. Alongside the magazine, Fightback additionally regularly publish a digital newsletter with various articles, also including illustrations.
